As the title sponsor, Charlie 1 Horse proudly presented the 2026 Bob Feist Invitational (BFI) All-Girl Team Roping and Breakaway Roping, held annually in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The event continues to highlight the strength, talent and camaraderie of women ropers, while celebrating the enduring spirit of the cowgirl.

In a thrilling day of competition, Megan Gunter and Chenoa Vande Stouwe captured top honors in the All-Girl Team Roping. The longtime friends shared smiles as they collected $10,000 each along with new Charlie 1 Horse hats.

“This win is pretty special. Anytime you can win this significant of an amount, it’s important to help us keep going down the road,” Gunter said. “It’s cool to see how many girls rope so well these days. It’s exciting for the future of the sport.”

One of the day’s most memorable moments came when 11-year-old Lattie Lummus teamed up with dream draw partner, world champion Martha Angelone, a Charlie 1 Horse team member, to win the No. 9.6 incentive, an inspiring testament of the next generation’s talent.

The doubleheader event brought together top athletes from across the country for a full day of team roping and breakaway competition at the Lazy E Arena, creating an atmosphere buzzing with excitement for the future of women in the Western industry.

In the breakaway roping, Braydee Bourdet of Hollister, California, delivered a standout performance. The 15-year-old cowgirl posted a three-head time of 11.56 seconds to win the 18-and-under incentive by two seconds and earn $1,400. She also rallied from seventh in the callback to claim the main event title, finishing ahead of world champions including Taylor Munsell and Angelone. Bourdet recorded consistent runs of 3.8, 3.7 and 3.9 seconds, earning a total of $18,100.
